• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

I just noticed on the internet that Mysql is updated to version 4.1.18.

Can we as Plesk users expect an update in the near future to solve hangup problems with MySQL ?

At the moment version 4.1.14 is delivered with plesk with many problems with it.

(ps. i am afraid to do the installation manually so an update would be preferrable)

As I know Plesk update normaly wouldn't update 3 party software like MySQL, MailEnable.... You may need to update yourself manually. :(

Not officially you can upgrade Plesk core mysql to any 4.x.x version
At the same time you can upgrade client mysql to 5.x.x version.
Of course, without any warranty from SWSoft Inc.,
