• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

psa 7.5.4, sa 3.0.4-1.3, suse 9.3 (64-bit)

i setup rules_du_jour the other day... and it's been doing it's thing... downloading to /etc/mail/spamassassin as well as /etc/mail/spamassassin/rulesdujour so it would seem... whatever... files in both places wouldn't cause it "not" to work i'd imagine... the config file is in /etc/rulesdujour/config.... just followed the wiki howto....anyways all THAT works....

spamassassin just doesn't seem to be using these files.

why isn't sa reading the rules? i've searched all over the / for anything relating to spamassassin... have i missed something?

i don't suppose plesk support would cover this sort of thing...

I am not familiar with suse, my boxes are CentOS but it shouldn't make too much difference. Run this from the command line and you will be able to see where spamassassin is looking for rules.

#spamassassin -D --lint

On my system it looks for rules in /etc/mail/spamassassin/ and in /usr/share/spamassassin. The latter is where my rules_du_jour files are kept.

thanks for posting... both of the spots you mentioned showed up... i tried changing my rules du jour config to /usr/share/spamassassin and it didn't seem to effect anything...

but eh for the time being... MAPS seems to be working alright, in conjunction with the baysean training..... if i turn those off... the spam floods in....

thanks for posting though..
