I got an email from plesk saying that they just came out with there new 8.1.1 that fixed many issues. I logged into plesk and went to the "Updater" but it froze the first few times on the "loading please wait" and it froze a few times on that, so i waited and tried it many times and it wouldnt let me threw. Finally i got threw now it says

Error: Autoinstaller busy.
Warning: Installation is in progress.

Any ideas?

I am getting the same message.

I did not even realize an auto update
was in the process and had restarted my
server. I hope that does not make matters
worse.

Also to login, you need to clear your
browser session cache or else it just
hangs.

This has been going on for several hours
now.

Is the update process hung? I do not think
it should take that long.
 
the problem is on plesks side. There servers are busy to auto update. If you run it in the wee hours of the morning it will work, mine just worked because its almost 1am.

Just keep trying and it will work.

I bet a million people are trying it and there servers are just overloaded.
