  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue NGINX: x-cache-status: MISS

Manumarquez

New Pleskian
Hello:

Whenever I browse my website, I check that: NGINX: x-cache-status: MISS

If I refresh the page (f5) it changes to: HIT

So I think the cache time lasts a few seconds. How to increase it?.

What I really need, is for new users to receive a: x-cache-status: HIT

Regards

You can increase the NGINX caching timeout via the Apache & nginx Settings on your domain to a value better suited for your needs.

Timeout via the Apache & nginx Settings doesn't fix it.
I have discovered a customization (by editing the panel.ini file.):

[webserver]
; path where to store cache
nginxCacheDir = /var/cache/nginx
; default values
nginxCacheEnabled = off
nginxCacheSize = 62914560
nginxCacheTimeout = 5
nginxCacheKey = $scheme$request_method$host$request_uri
nginxCacheCookies = ""
nginxCacheBypassLocations = ""
nginxCacheBypassHeaderNocache = on
nginxCacheBypassHeaderAuth = on
nginxCacheBypassGetNocache = on
nginxCacheUseStale5xx = on
nginxCacheUseStale4xx = off
nginxCacheUseStaleUpdating = on
; maximum values
nginxCacheSizeMax = 1099511627776
nginxCacheTimeoutMax = 3153600000

Some expert knows how to customize it to extend the cache time. Also so that it does not take cookies into account.
