No backup: Runtime error: The check dump failed with code '1'

I have a new installation of Plesk 12.0.18 on CentOS 6.6.
This is the text from the server information page in Plesk:

Parallels Plesk v12.0.18_build1200140606.15 os_CentOS 6
CentOS 6.6 (Final)

I am not able to take backups of the content of the server. This is the error I get:

Error:
Runtime error: The check dump failed with code '1'. The dump can contain invalid data! at /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager line 1022.

Error:
The dump have been invalidated by check-dump operation

Can anyone help?

Do you have any special symbols (like German umlauts, for instance) in domain name or domain settings?

Hi,
it could be that I have special symbols. The domains are more than 80 but I don't think I have special symbols in the domain names, but I could have in the domain settings... I am in Italy and have customers around Europe. I understand ìèéòàùçåäö would be special?
If I do what is the problem and how can I solve it?

I have imported these sites from another server with Plesk 10 and on that server there were no problems with the backup.

I'm having the same problem after a migration from a different Plesk 12 server.

1. Click on backup in Plesk UI - you will see what is wrong with it.
2. Try to troubleshoot this issue with help of /var/log/plesk/PMM/backup-.../backup.log file.

Have exactly the same problem. I have IDN domains on my server. In the log there is following:

In my case it was a problem with a setting in the Plesk UI regarding DNS Recursion. Must have come up when I imported my sites from 10.X to 12.X on a new server.

This is what I found in backup.log (really I had one of these records for every domain):

When I followed these instructions, http://kb.odin.com/en/116463, I realized that there was no setting as to DNS Recursion so I provided one setting DNS Recursion to "localhost".

Now backup is working fine!

Thanks for your reply. But I think it's another Problem here because I do not have such error messages in my backup log. The only Error entries in this file are:
