Question No changelog for 18.0.74?

King555

Regular Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.74 Web Admin Edition
I'm missing the changelog for version 18.0.74. Will it be updated soon?

@mizar and @Sebahat.hadzhi, can you maybe provide some more details on what exactly has change in regard to:
* Improved the security of mail-account passwords.

And also, does the use of Apache Solr require any further manual configuration? Or does this work out of the box for all installations (or just new ones)?
* (Plesk for Linux) Dovecot now supports Apache Solr™ for faster searches on large IMAP mailboxes.

* Improved the security of mail-account passwords.

It looks like the feature that was described in a previous release:

(Plesk for Linux) You now have the option to use hashing for mail accountpasswords instead of symmetric encryption. Learn how to enable mail password hashing.

To remove the ability to switch between password hashing and symmetric encryption from the Plesk interface, add the followinglines to the panel.ini file:

[passwordManagement]
features.allowEmailPasswordHashing = false

Only the passwords created after enabling mail password hashing are hashed. Those created before remain symmetrically encrypted. Learn how to manually hash all mail account passowrds.

Hello,

> Improved the security of mail-account passwords.

In some cases, password strength for mail accounts was calculated incorrectly - some weak passwords are estimated as strong.

> And also, does the use of Apache Solr require any further manual configuration?

Since 18.0.74 we start to distribute FTS module for Solr in Dovecot, so you need to install and configure Solr manually for now.

I have just installed a new server, i start to install add-ons but....

There are no products for your operating system
( 'Debian' 'Linux' '13.1' 'x86_64' ) available
from the selected source.

Since the latest version my Plesk start page (Websites & domains) scrolls to the bottom automatically instead of staying at the top whenever I open the page. Is this a known problem?

@garp , could you please confirm what exactly are you referring to by add-ons - Plesk extensions, additional components, or something else? Also, could you please provide us with step-by-step instructions on how exactly to replicate the reported error?

@King555 , I am unable to replicate the issue. Have you tested that using another browser, please?
