no login into horde webmail after updating php

i have upgedated

a) zend optimizer 3.3.0
b) php 5.2.5

on OS Centos 5, with Plesk 9.2
horde version = 4.1.6
horde release = cos5.build92090714.19

the problem is that after updating login into horde webamail is not possible; always the login form comes after putting login data in.

any suggests what it could be? do i need to make also an update for psa?

Your command did not solve the problem.
/etc/hosts looks correct to me

Make sure that 'session.auto_start' is 0 in /etc/php.ini with

cat /etc/php.ini | egrep "session.use_trans_sid|session.auto_start"
session.auto_start = 0
session.use_trans_sid = 0

Is there a way to let plesk reinstall horde on the command line?

Yes, you can just remove all rpm packages with *horde*, *imp* in name and then install them back via autoinstaller as Horde webmail feature. Please try it and let me know if it not help.

Hi Igor, I am not so familiar with it and do not want to make more damage to the system instead of fixing it.
Can you explain how to remove the horde webmail from an opensuse 11.0 system and install it again via plesk in more detail please?

You can check all related dependences first with

rpm -e --test psa-horde psa-imp psa-kronolith psa-turba psa-mnemo psa-ingo psa-mimp psa-passwd

and if there are no any dependences, you can just remove these packages with

rpm -e psa-horde psa-imp psa-kronolith psa-turba psa-mnemo psa-ingo psa-mimp psa-passwd

After that you will be able install it back via autoinstaller.

I've reinstalled all the packages but the error in /var/log/psa-horde/psa-horde.log stays the same

Where can I change localhost to 127.0.0.1? Maybe this solves the issue.

Are you sure that port 143 is really opened there? Please check it with

lsof -i tcp:143

or

telnet localhost 143

Also check content of /etc/hosts about 127.0.0.1 and localhost

/etc/hosts is fine and includes localhost and 127.0.0.1

Both of your commands do not give any reply or result.
