• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

No messages appear in spam training tab

Basic Pleskian
Plesk 9.5.4 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. New install. Using Postfix with Spamassassin. Migrated over 120 domains. All working pretty well. Some confusion about spam filtering, though. Currently, I have both "Switch on server-wide SpamAssassin spam filtering" and "Apply individual settings to spam filtering" checked in Home | Settings| Spam Filter Settings. In the individual email accounts, however, no messages appear in the spam training tab, although I've checked to see that there ARE messages in the inbox. All suggestions welcome!

Thanks.

Hello,

Exactly the same problem here on 2 servers:
- A brand new one with Plesk 9:

Plesk 9.5.4 MU18
Linux 2.6.18-308.1.1.el5xen
CentOS CentOS 5.6-64 Minimal for CCI
GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 0 @ 2.00GHz

- A reload of a Plesk 8.6.0 (before reload the mails were appearing in the Training tab!!!).

psa v8.6.0_build86081001.15 os_RedHat el5
Linux 2.6.18-274.12.1.el5
RedHat el5-32
GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz

SYMPTOMS: not any mail appears in the Spam Assassin Training tab.

Very annoying indeed...

OK, replying to myself!

I have found the solution there:
http://forum.parallels.com/showpost.php?p=407740&postcount=58

Just replace:
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/CmdManageSA3.pm

With the one in the zip file (and CHMOD 755 if it is not already correct), and the Training tab will show the mails again!

Now this is fine for a PLESK 9 server, but it does not work with my Plesk 8.6.0 server!!!
Is there a similar patch for Plesk 8.6.0???
