Issue No PTR records exist on any domain on the server

I can not add PTR records to the domains on a domain-by-domain basis ; the Plesk interface expects an IP rather than the "153.54.217.in-addr.arpa" text.

I have looked to this question Question - Reverse DNS/PTR Record and my Server wide mail server shows "Send from Server IP address and use SMTP Domain name in greeting" but still all my domains all third parties show there is no PTR record.

How to add PTR records to my domains?

EG:

> domain.org PTR 153.54.217.in-addr.arpa

At the domain DNS level. How to fix this?

Because in the background Plesk adds the required text. Besides, you don't need to add a PTR as mention in the post you've linked. If you're trying to configured a specific domain to the IP address for the reserve DNS look up, that would need to be done with your hosting provider that provided the IP address.

Ok. So assume I get my IP provider to delegate to me the rDNS editing abilities ; is the domain/account PTR record then put in the server DNS in plesk or external to plesk still within the Hosting providers zone?

I personally do not have any PTR entries configured on any of my domains directly and the only thing I have configured is in the hosting provider's control panel I have the IP address pointing to my main domain.
