• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Non admin unable to login

New Pleskian
I've scoured the internet and opened a support case with parallels. They poked around for a few minutes and told me to upgrade from 8.1.1. to 8.6 to before they would spend any more time troubleshooting this issue.

Upgrading is a really last ditch option for me right now as I am in the process of implementing a an entirely new Plesk environment and do not want to cause more impact to my customers than necessary.

Now for the problem... When logging in to the my control panel, if I login with an admin user, I get in, but if I login with a domain user, I get the following:

ERROR: PleskFatalException
wrong id

0: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/user/UserClient.php:24
UserClient->__construct(NULL null)
1: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/class.Session.php:188
Session->getUser()
2: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/class.Session.php:541
Session->getDefaultContext()
3: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/class.Session.php:559
Session->getContext()
4: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/class.Pathbar.php:49
Pathbar->__construct()
5: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/class.Pathbar.php:21
pathbarMaker()
6: /usr/local/psa/admin/auto_prepend/auth.php3:447

I've cleared the sessions both on the file system and in mysql, still get this issue.

Anyone seen something like this before? Support was no help :(
