• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Open DNS

thanks a bunch paul! i think that i got it working.

taking it a step further... since plesk uses bind for winxp server 2003, can we also enable recursive lookups only for the local network? similar to this:

Use a line "recursion no;" in the "options" clause (or in the "view" clause)
If you need to enable recursion for your local network, you can use a "allow-recursion { ADD_LIST_OF_YOUR_IP_RANGES_HERE; }" line in the "options" section.
[Use caution; BIND files are easy to break]

MS DNS, doesn't provide selective recursion disabling per interface

John S.G.

i agree, you can't use selective recursion with ms dns, so the question is, can you do it with the plesk bind function?

local network recursion could be important for a lot of sites.

When I disable dns recursion, my outgoing mail stops as SmarterMail is unable to get the MX records for external domains. Is there a work around or fix for this?
