• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question OpenSSL error in postfix log

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Almalinux 9.7
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.74 #3
Hello everyone,

On one of our servers with Plesk, which has Almalinux 9.7 installed (not an update, a clean installation), the following appears in the postfix log:

postfix/smtpd [31867]warning: run-time library vs. compile-time header version mismatch: OpenSSL 3.5.0 may not be compatible with OpenSSL 3.2.0

The mail server seems to be working fine, but this line appears in the log continuously. I've looked in the forum and the closest thing I can find is to update postfix from the OS vendor repositories. Is this correct? Will I break anything? Do I do this using dnf update openssl\*?

Thanks a lot in advance!
