Optimal Browser Settings for SB3 (Unix/Linux)

I am running Windows XP Pro and IE7. My internet connection is SprintPCS Wireless (I've got one of those connection or air cards). SB3 is DOG HORRIBLE SLOW. Are there any browser settings that I might try to help alleviate this problem?
 
We have customers complaining of SB3 being terribly slow also. Does anyone know if there are browsers settings that can effect this?
