Hello Dear Plesk Users and better informed people :D

I'm kinda new in Plesk and did some research before i came here to ask a specific Question.

We're a german speaking country called Switerland :p

Some users are sadly not well going with speaking english (mostly elder persons) but i don't want to let them down and i was wondering, if it's possible to install the German language in Os Ticket on a CentOS 7 Server and if so how?

first of all, welcome to the Plesk-community and I would like to mention, that this forum is a "Plesk-related" community, so you will find Plesk-Team-Members, users and clients who are specialized with Plesk and it's components.

You are more than welcome to ask questions about "osTicket", but pls. be aware, that you will find experts for example at => http://osticket.com.de/forum/board-list/ ( a well-known osTicket community for german speaking users ).


Actually, you will find all language files at => http://osticket.com/download#linguas , where you should download the "de.phar", which you are able to implement inside the language folder.

Thanks fist of all for your answer, i thought that there aould be language files, but i don't know the structures of the plesk install folders on my server, so i don't know where to place them.

If i would just implement the language file, would it be visible in the settings afterwards?

Hi jonny_alex,

well, it's really not that complicated, to use a FTP - client with the domain - user for the domain, at which you installed your software in and click through the folders you see. One is named "lang" or "language". ;)

... and "yes", you will then be able to choose the additional "German" / "Deutsch" language in your settings over the GUI.

the "language" - folder is named as "i18n" and insider the "include" - folder, when you installed osTicket.

Example: /var/www/vhosts/YOUR-DOMAIN.COM/httpdocs/include/i18n

I have visited your link but it didn't work suddenly :/

Not visible in background and the php call didn't work either
 
I didn't finx the folder i18n it simply doesn't exist on my domain even when i reinstall it

Where else could i find a folder for languages?
