  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Outlook mac last version: message "Your settings replace00 prevent us from accessing your mail."

Erwan

Regular Pleskian
Hi all,

One of our customers has a problem with his email account (which we host under Plesk) and the latest version of Outlook Mac.
When he wants to send a message, it stays in the outbox. Without error message.
By closing Outlook and reopening it, the message goes away.

After a few seconds when Outlook is open, the following message appears:
Your settings replace00 prevent us from accessing your mail. In your Email settings, make sure IMAP is enabled and selected for your folders.

He has no problem with his 2 other email accounts (including a Gmail address).

Do you have an idea?
Tahnk you.

Erwan

The error message is primarily related to GMail, not to other mailboxes. In your GMail account(s) you need to turn on the different options, e.g. imap.
