• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Own DNS

Frank.P

Regular Pleskian
When I create a domain and set the internal DNS registry like NS,A,PTR, etc ....

Allways the main NS are the server DNS and not the Own.

For example :

> Reseller Account Plesk (ns1.example.com , ns2.example.com)
> Create Client (test)
> Create Domain demo1.com into client test
> DNS
- demo1.com NS ns1.example.com
- demo1.com NS ns2.example.com
- demo1.com A 127.0.0.1
- www.demo1.com CNAME demo1.com

Allways use the main dns ns1.example.com and then I need to change for my own DNS.
It is possible to set a default DNS in each client account

Hey,

Have you registered your IP's with your domain registar?

It is pretty simple really, just go to your domain registar and then when you into name servers they should have a part next to that saying you need IP's because the name servers are not yet active.
