Ownership of httpdocs dir

On one of our plesk boxes when a new site is created the httpdocs dir is owned by root (obviously this then has to be changed so the customer can upload new content). The httpsdocs is correctly owned by the ftp user.

Where/how/why can this be changed so that the correct ownership is used on creation.

Fixed this

Somehow we had an httpdocs dir in the
"/home/sites/chown"
directory.
Deleted this and back to normal.
