Resolved Package Update Manager notification : error

Hello,

Since few days I'm receiving the following error in e-mail :
Raison : 2021-08-20 06:26:38 INFO: pum is called with arguments: ['--list', '--repo-info', '--json']
2021-08-20 06:27:40 ERROR: E:The repository 'Index of /kernelcare-debian/10/ stable Release' no longer has a Release file.
2021-08-20 06:27:40 ERROR: Exited with returncode 1.

I've tried to manually update system ("apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y") but it doesn't fix it.
Any idea about how to fix it, please ?

Do you have kernelcare extension installed? Try to remove it.

OK, I try to remove it (I've tested it in trial, but didn't remove it when it expires).
I'll give you a feed back after tests.

I am receiving similar message in email:

2022-07-26 06:25:39 ERROR:
2022-07-26 06:25:39 ERROR: Exited with returncode 1.

I have tried the same things including apt-get update and upgrade as well as removing kernel care.

I still receive the error "Error: Unable to get packages list: 2022-07-26 13:04:44 INFO: pum is called with arguments: ['--list', '--repo-info', '--json'] 2022-07-26 13:04:47 ERROR: 2022-07-26 13:04:47 ERROR: Exited with returncode 1." when trying to load the system updates page in Plesk.

@nvincent did removing kernelcare work for you? Is there anything else I can try?

It looks like apt was receiving an error with repo deb http://dl.google.com/linux/mod-pagespeed/deb/ stable main. After commenting it out in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mod-pagespeed.list it is now working.

I got this message today since I received 2 days ago an automatic update to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.45 Update 2:

Hallo admin, es sind Probleme mit dem Tool für Systemupdates auf Ihrem Server mail.tenckhoff.de aufgetreten. Beheben Sie die Probleme manuell.

Grund: 2022-07-28 05:33:00 INFO: pum is called with arguments: ['--list', '--repo-info', '--json']
2022-07-28 05:33:32 ERROR:
2022-07-28 05:33:32 ERROR: Exited with returncode 1.

1. apt update works without error.
2. source.list is unchanged since 5.7.22
3. source.list.d contains an empty file with name: hda-me-ubuntu-nginx-stable-focal.hda.list I do not know.

Any idea how to find out the reason and solve this?

Check your repository files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
This one is empty: hda-me-ubuntu-nginx-stable-focal.hda.list

So either delete it or move it to /tmp and try again.

Thank you for the reply. It was not the problem but the choosen repository for MariaDb updates was not stable reachable. It was served by mariadb.mirror.liquidtelecom.com.

So I removed the entry deb [arch=ppc64el,amd64,arm64] Index of /repo/10.6/ubuntu/ focal main and now it works again.

Is there any recommendation for a reliable repository for MariaDb 10.6 updates as I just got rid of the previous used russian one?
