  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Parallels VZ Supported Technologies

Hello,

Couldn't really find a clear answer on this, I'd like to buy a few Parallels Plesk Panel licenses to use on OpenVZ/KVM/Xen containers.

Parallels offer discounted VZ licenses, are these restricted to Virtuozzo Containers only or will they work on OpenVZ (or the other virtualization technologies) also?

I've searched online and found conflicting information on the forums, I'm really not sure if it will work unless I buy a VZ license and try it out.

Thanks
Asad

As far as I know sales representative can release license only for Xen or for OpenVZ or for all these virtualization technologies in Key Administrator. Therefore I suggest you contact your sales representative with your question.
