  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Passwords with short security, please help!!

New Pleskian
Hello friends:

I'm migrating 80 accounts from another server (vpopmail), 60 of these accounts have short or easy passwords that Plesk can't admit.

I can't set new passwords to that users because they need to work tomorrow..., I can alert they to change it for another password more secure, but I need configure the SAME password today.

Please, exists any way to configure e-mail easy account passwords?.

Thanks!!.

Am not sure if the command interface checks for the password strength! However you can check it out ...
Also in plesk there is a feature where you can reduce the security policy of passwords to WEAK, this way all passwords should be accepted! (if I am not mistaken)
