Patch - can I install it?

I'm on a non-windows Plesk 7.5.2, have root access, is it possible for me to install Patch? Or maybe it's there and not defined in the path?

I'm trying to patch a phpbb forum. Thank you!

make sure patch is installed:

rpm -q patch

it should be at /usr/bin/patch

Can I do this without breaking anything? Oops, forgot to mention that there is a PATCHK in there.
