Performance Issue of WPB sites on Mac?

Hi Egor,

I am noticing a problem with various WPB websites and browsers specifically on Mac. Viewing those published sites uses an unusual amount of CPU performance.

Here are the results from a test with three different websites:

Is it a bug? Is there a problem with the provided Javascript files?

Hi Dave,

Such cpu usage is not normal.
As I remember, it was a performance problem with enabled "Stretch the sidebars and the content area down to the footer". Looks like your case.
Please try to disable stretching..

Indeed, when disabling streching the sidebars the performance goes back to normal. Thanks for the hint. Hope you can solve it in a future release.

Dave, this issue already fixed (in WPB 11.1 I think). What version of WPB do you use? maybe I can provide you patch to resolve this issue (if you interested in this of course)...

The versions used are 10.4.4 and 11.0.10. The affected sites are web sites with low traffic and disabling the streching feature solves the issue in those cases, so no patch required at the moment. Thank you for your kind offer, Egor.
