permission Required for Event Manager to execute a bat file?

Mike Legg

Basic Pleskian
I have a bat file that isn't being run when the event fires and I'm wondering if it's a permission problem.

The user selected in the Event Manager setup is "Plesk Administrator" - which I assume is the equivalient of "psaadm" in Windows. I've given this user Full Control of the file (I know that's overkill - but I did it just to be sure)

I can execute it using the "Run" command while RDP'd into the server, but nothing happens when the Event to which it is associated occurs.

I've found the Event Manager log and there is nothing in it relevant to this Event.

So it appears that the Event Manager isn't even writing to it's log ... weird.

I think i've worked this out.

There were about a dozen instances of event_handler.exe, cmd.exe & conhost.exe sitting in memory, I terminated them and restarted Plesk and it seems to be working now
