Permissions reset to apache:apache

Hello,

Wondering if anyone else has this problem :

For some reason the owner and/or group of files and folders within a domains vhosts folder (httpdocs) on the server seem to change to apache instead of psacln and the owner name.

I know I can change this back manually but it is kind of annoying - is there anyone out there with an idea of why this happens?

Thanks

Have you installed any non-Plesk updates to apache, or any mods?

In the domain(s) in question, have you installed any apps, like a CMS or BB?

Thanks for the response.

We are using a commerce solution called Lite Commerce.

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that one, but can you correlate if usage of Lite Commerce and the uid:gid reset to apache coincide?

Ok thanks, so can you state that using some php based apps like some CMS and BB's can cause a gid/uid reset ?

Is there a reason for this?
