• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

PHP 5.0 for selective domains

Hi there,

I am currently using Plesk 7.5.6. I wish to install PHP 5 on my server but only for a few domains, while the majority of the domains will remain using PHP 4.3.11. What is the best way to proceed?

Thanks!

Hmm, I would not do that. I have upgraded to PHP 5 and it's worthy the effort.

But I will be also curious to know how you can achieve what you are looking for, so if you find somewhere else an answer, please post it here so we can learn how to also.

Good luck,

DXTrim

the reason for doing so is that from what I heard, some applications are not compatible with PHP5 yet.
