PHP 5.3.9 ,Plesk 10.4.4 with Latest microupdates

PatrickSR

New Pleskian
I have the latest version off Plesk installed with PHP 5.3 update. It only installed PHP 5.3.9. According to http://kb.parallels.com/en/113306, PHP was updated to 5.3.10 in MU#16. I have the latest microupdates installed. Where can I get the PHP 5.3.10 Plesk install?

Thanks
Patrick

You can update it via Updates and Upgrades as any other components. Just click Add Components there.

As you told there Updates and upgrades,I think both are not same. Updates refers to some amount of bug fixes and minor software enhancements and is made available by free download. And Upgrade refers to a software upgrade which is a purchase of a newer version of software you currently use of a more fully-featured version of your current software.
So here he needs update but not upgrade

Yes, and furthermore if you read my initial post, I am already updated to the latest updates using the Updates and Upgrades link. When I click Add Components, the PHP 5.3 component is already installed so I can't add it again. And the version installed is 5.3.9. I ran the msi from the PANEL-WIN_10.4.4\dist-msi-Microsoft-2003-i386\ folder; using Repair, thinking this might update the version to PHP 5.3.10 but no.

Try to remove current PHP 5.3 installation with

msiexec /x php53.msi

PANEL-WIN_10.4.4\dist-msi-Microsoft-2003-i386\php53.msi

and then install updated version again.

I had already tried that, and had to manually re-install the msi package afterwards as even though the package was un-installed, it did not re-appear in the Updates and Upgrade list. It again installed v 5.3.9.

However last night I received an email stating that Plesk was successfully updated by the autoinstaller. It looks like MU#19 was pushed last night and indeed updated PHP to v 5.3.10. I confirmed the version using msiinv, and the fact that the php53.msi file had a new modified date of 2/29/2012.

Is it possible you might be able to to reply to my other post regarding the File Sharing not working http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=257678

At least to let me know if this is a known issue or not.

Thanks again IgorG
