php / Application Vault problems

I am having troubles with php scripts from the application vault (and 3rd party) in that they don't output anything aside from the headers. A simple phpinfo script confirms that php is working at least some of the time, but I'm 0/5 on application vault php apps accross 2 domains tonight. I have verified that php is enabled on both of these domains. Thanks in advance.
