• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

PHP5 not an option on Plesk 9.5.3 RHEL4

PHP5 is not shown as an option for installation on my Plesk 9.5.3 panel, running on RHEL4.

It should be listed as a package available for install/update.

Any ideas why it wouldn't be listed and how to fix?

I don't want to install a 3rd party RPM. I want to install the one that comes with Plesk. If the only answer is to install a 3rd party RPM, please include instructions on how to download it.

Thanks in advance!

There are two PHP in Plesk - for admin's interface and internal commands and PHP for customer's sites (PHP for hosting).
PHP for hosting is not shipped with Plesk. It is PHP from OS vendor's repository. Therefore you can install it as usual package with your OS package system (yum, apt, yast).
