  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PHP7

We need some time for building packages, testing stage on different OSes, etc. I can't give you exact period between PHP7 release date and official support this PHP version in Plesk. Maybe 1 month, maybe more.

I think PHP7 is going to be very popular, but I understand it takes time. Hopefully less than one month if possible from my standpoint.

One thing about Plesk is that they usually never release a PHP/MySQL/Apache/NGINX/etc version when it's still in alpha/beta or release candidate stage because a lot of the time it simply can cause a big change. Usually once something is out for stable release the back code doesn't change much on each release compared to a beta/RC release.

With that said, Apache and NGINX is still in beta/RC stages for HTTP/2, so don't expect to see support until sometime after it's becomes official.

Hi DylanJ,

I personally think, that you should wait, untill Plesk officially announce the PHP7 support, which might include as well some updates/patches for the different Plesk versions.

After I ran the command, I got this:
