Physical hosting incorrectly active

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

G'day,

We have service plans with "Physical hosting" disabled on the "Hosting Parameters" tab. A subscription with this service plan is not synced, cannot be synced and cannot be upgraded either.

Upon syncing we see screenshot1.png
In the subscription overview page we see screenshot2.png
A "change package" command from WHMCS results in the following error: "Unable to accept the template: the following limitations are exceeded.Description Requested Allowed Physical hosting (theobconsult.com) None Physical hosting "

To resolve this issue we need to execute the following command after the subscription creation:
plesk bin site -u $domain -hosting false

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. create service plan with "Physical hosting" disabled
  2. provision subscription with the service plan
  3. try to sync the newly created subscription

ACTUAL RESULT

Physical hosting requested but not allowed

EXPECTED RESULT

Physical hosting disabled within the subscription after creation if Physical hosting is disabled in the service plan

I am unable to replicate your issue based on the steps you provided.

When I create a Service Plan with the physical hosting disabled (in on the "Hosting Parameters" tab), and next create a new subscription (in Plesk), the newly created subscription is already synced with the Service Plan to begin with.

The failed synchronization message your seeing in screenshot 1 is because the subscription has physical hosting enabled, while the Service Plan does not. This creates a conflict and which is why the synchronization fails. So the question is why does your subscription has physical hosting enabled?
