Picture Appearing Different Than Template

I selected Template #Personal-042. When the preview template is shown, the picture on the top of the page is full length across the page. However, when I go through the steps and to the part where I can type into the page, the picture is much smaller. The picture is shown in a box, and the box is the actual size of the original template and picture. But under edit and preview mode the picture is not the right size.

What is going on? I've had this template before about a year ago and never had an issue.

It's for my business website.

Any urgent help, thank you so much.

PS - I have tried with Mozilla and IE and no difference in what I have encountered.
