hello

i have plesk 10.3 on ubuntu 10.04 LTS
in mysql i have a database called "phpmyadmin". i had to restore all the system after a system install, now the database name have chanched ! its called "phpmyadmin_ewGFEJDdnekfdhgf"
i do not like this name, i want to rename it to "phpmyadmin"

what dependencies do i have to change before renaming the database ?

thanks for helping

I don't think you want to. Do you understand what this database is used for?

I guess you can, via the command line, run a MySQL query to change the database name and then change the phpMyAdmin config. But this may, and probably will, break Plesk's ability to use phpMyAdmin.

I guess I just don't understand why you would want to muck with the phpMyAdmin control database name, it will change again the next time phpMyAdmin is updated, if I understand it correctly. This database should never be facing the public, nothing but phpMyAdmin needs to access it.... I guess I'm missing the point.
