  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk 10.4.4 - Plesk Panel Backup & Apache User

Hi,

Hoping someone can help with this. I'm hosting a site that is setup to use PHP as Apache, it was originally setup as FASTCGI. As part of the change, I chown'd the httpdocs to user apache, it all works fine.

The problem I'm having now is that the Plesk Panel no longer backs up the httpdocs of the domain due to the permissions being apache and not the domain user. The group is still setup as httpdocs - 504 (psaserv) and all files/folders inside httpdocs as 505 (psacln)

I'm new and learning about this, can someone help please?

Thanks in advance
