• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
hi,

we run plesk 10.4.4 on a suse 11.4 system (evergreen updates) and we need the option to upgrade from php 5.3.5 to php 5.3.10 as this is the min requirement for joomla 2.5 / virtuemart 2.6.2.

how do we upgrade? we couldnt find any matching packages on zypper etc.

also, as we are using joomla 2.5. we experience a lot of rights issues when apache user is trying to write dirs or move files. is there a fix for plesk to overcome these issues? should fastcgi used instead? how can i config only one domain to run as fastcgi?

thank you,

dorkus
