Plesk 10 - psa dead but subsys locked

Can anyone here help a complete a total newb here… I am running plesk 10 on a VPS thru GoDaddy. About twice a day, my psa service just stops. I have to SSH in a restart the service. This is pretty mucha brand new setup here and GoDaddy is telling me I need to look thru log files to fix this issue. I have no idea what I am even looking for since again, this is pretty much brand new, out of the box.

It happened again today and I ran the status command and found this: psa is dead but subsys is locked

Any ideas given the little information I have listed here?

If you need more details, please remember I am SUPER new to this so please assume I have no knowledge of what I should be doing here.

*side note: when i was sold the VPD thru GoDaddy, I was not told I own the entire server. I was told I would have help any time I needed it. I was told I would need to manually install Wordpress and setup the DBs, but that was pretty much the extent of what I would have to do.
