  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk 11.5 Debian/Ubuntu PHP5.4

None that I know of. But this should be pretty straightforward - update PHP to 5.4 from third-party repository as you normally would. The only thing you should care about is to not remove any of Plesk packages during the process (but I won't expect this to happen).

After the upgrade is complete you may want to call:
# plesk sbin packagemng -sdf
# service apache2 restart

If you already had php-fpm, also restart it. Also manually check that your old php.ini is compatible with the new version (e.g., leaving safe_mode=on there will bring you grief).

Alternative way is to use custom php handlers feature (i.e., build and install you own PHP and register it in Plesk). But I'd stick to the first option unless you need 2 different PHP versions.
