Plesk 11 - recompile apache/php - FD_SETSIZE value

I have a question regarding this:

Has anyone recently tried this on Plesk 11? Article says that this applies to Plesk 8/9/10, so i was just wondering....

I suppose it should work for Plesk 11 as well - without nginx. Maybe with nginx is different story :)
