Hi Everyone, Hope all is well. I am not 100% sure it was this microupdate as I did a couple at once earlier today. I am hoping you guys have heard of this issue before. It's driving me crazy. Since I have updated, when I add a new domain to Plesk either via WHMCS or directly in the Plesk panel, everything gets created but when I browse to that domain, I get the default page you would get if you went to the IP of the site, ie. no host header information. It's not a DNS issue, as I am using my hosts file to test. Basically, it is acting as if there is no vhost (httpd.conf) information for the domain being loaded into apache itself. I am going to keep troubleshooting and will post back if I figure it out but this is very strange behavior. The only other thing I noticed that is different is that usually when you create a domain in Plesk and haven't uploaded any files to it yet, it shows 0.6 MB used (i guess the default files/folders in the httpdocs folder). On these new domains it's showing 0.0 MB used. I am not sure that is relevant but just wanted to point that out. Please help as I cannot add any more domains to my servers!

Thanks,

Tony

Update for anyone who sees this behavior. Again, it wasn't the default Plesk index.html page that was coming up. It was the main site of the server. The primary site that is tied to the IP that comes up if you just put the shared IP in and not the domain. Seems as it might not have been able to load all the vhost information into memory, etc. Not 100% sure technically but it ended up being an nginx rlimit issue. I found some errors that pointed me to this link.

If you have a bunch of domains (I have 240 on this server so far, the link says 256 but whatever I still saw the errors) this might be of interest to you. I followed this resolution and it seems to be working just fine now. Hope this helps someone with the same issue. If anyone has any other ideas or input on how to tune this number, etc. please chime in.

Thanks,

Tony

So Igor, if you want to edit this and move it to general (not related to microupdate) please do. I don't think it was related. Just happened right after I updated! Keep up the good work everyone!

Thanks,

Tony
