  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi there,

current MU is sadly not working in our Environment.
Current Version 12.0.18 Update #66 updated on Sept, 24th worked without errors.

The Auto-Update failed with the following error msg:

This is repeated three times, then rollback is initiated, which also fails to reinstall the plesksrv-Service, which leads to crash...

http://kb.odin.com/en/121069 fixes the rollback-problem and all seems to be running well.

I had another problem with the "<PATH_TO>\Parallels\Plesk\isapi\urlprotect.dll" security-settings of the plesk service accounts "psacln" and "psaserv", that I could fix by assigning them RX.

Everything until the Service-SnaFu works fine. But there it always crashes (tried 6-7 times now).

Anyone has the same issues please lemme know the easy solution ;-)

Cheers
Mat

Forgot to add: checked for Process Explorer, not running on the server.
Are there any other (Microsoft-)Surveillance-Apps you know of, that could have the same effect?

Also deactivated all other running WebApps and AppPools and tried the update, again fail.

btw... Windows Server 2012 R2

Cheers
Mat
