Plesk 12.5 redirecting Joomla sites to default Plesk Page.

New Pleskian
Hi there,

I had around 10 Joomlas 3.4.8 sites working perfectly in a 12.0.18 Plesk Centos 6.5
(PHP 5.4.16 running php as fast CGI Application)

I just migrated to a brand new installation with Plesk 12.5 completely updated to to the latest version. Not error when restoring manually my Joomla sites... until I click the home page.

With all sites, (including multi-language sites using /es and /es tags), the behavior is as follows:

  • domain.com redirects to Plesk's default page (wrong)
  • domain.com/index.php redirects to the right home page (correct)
  • domain.com/es redirects to Plesks default page (wrong) (/es is the default Joomla language)
  • domain.com/en redirects to the right English home page (correct)

As I said, the problem is with all Joomla sites, multi-language or not.

I tried

Joomla Changes:

Joomla friendly URL ON/OFF
Joomla rewrite URL ON/OFF
Using and Not using .htacces (original joomla file)

Results: Not luck.

Plesk Changes:

Tried from PHP 5.4.16 to 5.6.17 & FastCGI/FPM Apache

Results: No luck

I'm using
Plesk 12.5.30 Update #19,
CentOS Linux 7.2.1511 (Core)‬

My question:

Do i need to add any special line to my .htacces or in my php or nginx configuration, in order to run migrated Joomla sites from Plesk 12.0.18 to Plesk 12.5 ?

I will really appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.
