Plesk 12 + RHEL 7 / Centos 7

when will Plesk 12 be compatible with RHEL/CENTOS 7?
Install Error:

Installation will not continue because your operating system
"'CentOS' 'Linux' '7.0.1406' 'x86_64' under vz" is not supported.

Getting Plesk fully compilable with Centos 7 is going to be a lot of work as now you have systemd, new apache 2.4, mariadb instead of mysql, new default filesystem XFS etc.

do you have any idea if Plesk is being tested for CentOS 6 to CentOS 7 upgrades?
And if it will switch everything to systemd ?


This is important in making a decision as to which OS to deploy for migrations to Plesk 12 and wether or not to wait a couple more weeks.

I installed this yesterday and it seems to work. It's not supported until Parallels says so, so just testing.
I would like the sysv init scripts to be converted to native systemd unit files... and for dovecot there exists both an init script and a unit file:

[root@selonia ~]# ls -l /etc/init.d/dovecot /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/dovecot.service 
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 1977 Aug  7 11:25 /etc/init.d/dovecot
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root   39 Aug 12 23:17 /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/dovecot.service -> /usr/lib/systemd/system/dovecot.servic

Is Fail2Ban working in your Centos 7 installation?

It's installed / activated - but won't show up in Plesk Panel ... ?
(no Problem in Centos 6 installations)

Yea - already got it running - but it seems there are Problems with fail2ban?!?
As you can see here it's installed and activated: http://temp.in.futureweb.at/parallels/fail2ban1.jpg
But it won't show up in the Backend: http://temp.in.futureweb.at/parallels/fail2ban2.jpg

Any Idea on that?

With my installation, it just works.
Perhaps it's not activated in your license?
