• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

In PLESK, 7.5.2 in Server-wide mail preferences we are UNABLE to check :
( ) Use of short (webmaster) and full ([email protected]) POP3/IMAP mail account names is allowed

When we check this we have the error in PLESK:
Unable to allow the use of short mail names for POP3/IMAP accounts. There are mail names matching the encrypted paswords

i have lots of customers that are using short names to get POP3. Se erros in /var/log/messages:
"Jul 1 17:46:17 lp2 authpsa: checkmailpasswd: FAILED: cleber - short names not allowed from @ [200.149.1.209]"

This option was checked before. Suddenly it changed ALONE!

How to solve this ?
