  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.

We are currently evaluating Plesk 7.6

Configuration as follows:

We are using VMWare Free Virtual Server for evaluating software:

- Windows 2003 Standart Edition
- SQL Server 2005 Standart Edition
- Merak Mail Server 8.03 with ODBC support, using SQL Server database

Installation finishes without any problem. We can configure client and any other things without any problem.

But when we try to create an e-mail account under domain, it doesnt work. We tried different things.

Installed plesk without SQL database for it's own database
DIDNT WORK.

Installed Merak Mail Server with standart file system
DIDNT WORK.

Installed different versions of Merak Mail server
DIDNT WORK
(First we tried 8.5, but support team said Plesk will have support for 8.5 with next edition; then we tried 8.3 and then 8.03)

You can see error message below.

If you know any solution, pleask send a feed-back.

Thanks.
