Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.
Unfortunately, Plesk doesn't support SusE 10.2 and I think it won't be possible to install even latest version of Plesk on it. I don't recommend you to do that.
As I know Suse 10.2 quite fresh release and most probably it won't be supported by current Plesk version.
Yes, you are right but the thing is that Plesk was not tested on this OS and it is not guaranteed that it will work. As I remember there should be some dependencies problem during installation Plesk 8.1 on SuSe 10.2 because some of the Plesk packages (or just one) have dependency to specific version of SuSe 10.0/10.1.
In this case it is also not recommended to use '--nodeps' for installation.
If you have ability to make a try and test installation I think it would be great. Just give us some feedback if you will do it. I think it your experience will be useful for other people on this forum.
to 10.2 - thats a pitty
to php-configurator - the thirdparty folder is empty. in both 32 and 64 bit packages. I did not look at it recently, but I think you did not change the released packages, don't?
