I have been using Plesk 8.1 from last year.Installation no problem and working perfect.But when i installed Plesk 8.2 on my RHEL-5 version , following errors displayed during installation on fresh linux system.
Processing config directory: /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/httpsd.*.include
[Tue Aug 7 12:21:21 2007] [crit] (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to port 8443
Each and every time , same error on all systems.
After installation , when i check plesk status:
#service psa status
psa dead but subsys locked.
I deleted psa pid file , restarted the plesk but again same status.
I tried this on more than 5 systems.All same errors.
and when i check httpd_error log file, the error is :
Processing config directory: /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/httpsd.*.include
[Tue Aug 7 12:21:21 2007] [crit] (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to port 8443
Same error on all installation.
this was not so with Plesk 8.1.I have downloaded trial version of plesk from swsoft.com
can anybdy help me is this the bug or how to sort out the things,
