Plesk 8.3.0 and RHE 5.1

does the new Plesk 8.3.0 now works with RHE 5.1 ?

As see that currently Plesk supports Red Hat® Enterprise Linux 5.0 (AS/ES) i586 and 64bit:

But as fa as I know, Plesk can work on 5.1 as well.

I suspect you'll find that it installs on 5.1 just fine if you do it through yum. Ive got it in my archive now, you can add it with:

wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic |sh

Hi,

Actually, support guys always said that they don't support OSes which aren't officially tested and announced. Moreover, in case of unsupported OS they can disclaim with product's support and usually notify in advance about it.

Anyway, as atomicturtle said, for non major OS release (e.g. RHEL 5.0 and 5.1 ) you can try to
manually install the product (e.g. using yum or downloaded distributive).
