Plesk 8.6.0 Problem

Hi,

I have a small problem while on the login page if you go here : https://chatfreaks.net:8443 on the bottom right it shows "Login_button" and should it be showing as just "Login" but if I click the "Login_button" without typing anything into the username or password textboxes the "Login_button" changes to "Login"

Anyone know whats wrong?

Hi,
As I can see this server in running as virtual server on virtuozzo 3.5.1 hardware node and offline_management is enabled for this VPS.
There is no such issue if we go directly to VPS ommiting service container:
http://chatfreaks.net:8880/

Therefore, most likely there something wrong with service container on hardware node.
You may try updating os template on service container in the following way (the command needs to be run on hardware node):

> vzsveinstall -u

This operation does not touch any other VPSs excepting service container.

I told my host to have a look at this forum topic and I dont think they know whats causing it eather.

Hello,

When you go to https://chatfreaks.net:8443 requests are handled by Service VE that is running on Virtuozzo hardware node and this VE is responsilbe for displaying login page and some control panel frames. You can read more about offline management here:

so to resolve this problem you can either:
1. Install all latest Virtuozzo updates on hardware node by running vzup2date command. You should reinstall Service VE after that:

2. You can disable offline management for this container by running the following command on hardware node:
# vzctl set VE_ID --offline_management=no --save

3. You can access Plesk at http://chatfreaks.net:8880
