  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I just buy plesk 9.5 this morning and I'm trying to install it on a brand new clean and up to date debian 5 x86_64 VM

but parallels_installer_v3.6.0_build100407.15_os_Debian_5.0_x86_64 fail on each package fetch

for example :

Err http://autoinstall.plesk.com lenny/all psa-courier-imap 3.0.8-debian5.0.build95100504.17
Connection failed
Failed to fetch http://autoinstall.plesk.com/debian...ap_3.0.8-debian5.0.build95100504.17_amd64.deb Connection failed

well :
* ping http://autoinstall.plesk.com is OK
* wget http://autoinstall.plesk.com/debian...ap_3.0.8-debian5.0.build95100504.17_amd64.deb is OK
* packages from other repository like http://ftp.fr.debian.org lenny/main download well

some more info :

uname -a
Linux ****** 2.6.26-2-amd64 #1 SMP Tue Jan 12 22:12:20 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

what do I forgot ? I'm running out of time...

Hi Charles !

Do yo have any active firewall on that machine? Can you turn that off n check again?
Also, try replacing/adding the following to the resolvers (resolv.conf) : 8.8.8.8 / 4.4.4.4 / 208.67.222.222

Let us know how it goes :)

I ask my network admin for some firewall in the way and we found the issue.

Our ISP applicative firewall is dropping the connection due to a "traversal directory" error mabye due to the "../../" in packages URL.

So until we can make the problem being fix, I download the psa_9.5.2debian5.0.build95100504.12_amd64.deb.tar.gz but I did not understand how to use it, any help would be apreciated.

thx
