Plesk 9 Backup Issue

After a fresh install I have i run into an issue with the backup program! I get the folowing error when trying to open the backup program in the control panel under the administrator account or under a user account...

i tried a fresh install 3 times and get the same thing. Also downloaded a fresh copy of the the install and tried it. The first server i instlled it on i had no problems what so ever but for some reason i cant get it to work anymore....

any help would be very greatful....

Is the issue still persists for someone, try the following:
%plesk_bin%>PMMcli.exe --help
If you get an error about pywintypes25.dll file then:

1. Go to %systemroot%\system32 folder
2. Rename existing pywintypes25.dll to pywintypes25.dll.old there.
3. Get the file from attachment, unzip it and put into %systemroot%\system32 folder.
4. Check the issue after it.

I'm having the same problem.
I tried these stpes that ypu mentioned, but still aunable to make Backup..

Please some one could help me with this issue as soon as possible??
I'm migrating my server to another one, and my server will be thurned off in a few hours...

Oh my god maria, you have saved my server. Your solution is magical. The backup option work immediately once i paste the file into that folder. Thanks a lot
 
I am having the same issue here..

When I logged in to follow Maria's instructions, however, there was no PMMCli.exe application in the plesk bin folder. Can anybody explain this, or offer another solution? We are running Plesk 9.5

the Plesk Backup, backups everything a client/domain includes.

but you can just test it to be sure,
create a test domain, install a test forum, take a backup, then erase the tables of the mysql db of the test forum ,then do a restore of the plesk backup (for that domain) and see if the forum (thus it's database) is working ok.

Plesk 9.0.1, Backup Manager throws this error:

Failed to exec pmm cli. file does not exist or is not executable: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\/admin/bin/pmmcli"

When run the command PMMcli.exe --help in %plesk_bin% , it shows the error popup which says that it is not a valid Win32 application and when click on the OK button there, command window shows - Access is denied.

I still copied pywintypes25.dll from attached zip to the %systemroot%\system32 and also to %systemroot%\SysWOW64 folders both but still Backup Manager is throwing the same error.

Can anyone help?

Update:

PMMcli.exe found to be of 0 bytes, reason of which is unknown.
From where PMMcli.exe can be get to replace?
