  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 9's passive FTP port ranges don't match

I find myself unfortunately stuck using Plesk 9.0.1 after a license update.

After the update I'm encountering a weird error where I can not set my passive FTP ports. When I try setting the port range to 2000-2015 I get a conflict (see attached image). The page lists ports 1025-5000 as the parameters, but the error lists ports 5001-65535 as the correct range; for further testing I tried 65530-65536 and I got a pop-up box saying "Port number should lie between 1 and 65535."

Is this a known bug? And what can I do to fix this?
